So, our doors are almost closed. We've still got a ton of stuff we want to sell, so if you're interested in purchasing some fine music items, get down here today or tomorrow (August 31), our last day ever in business. Sad, but true. If you can't make it down, but you want to help us out, feel free to chip in and donate a little scratch to our going out of business efforts. We're in some debt and we'd like to get out. Every little bit helps. We could blame the corporate interests influencing our economy for squeezing everyone into paycheck to paycheck life, we could blame the music industry for refusing to revise their business model to address the urgency of doing business in the new millenium, we could blame the file sharers for their innovation and outright theft, we could even blame ourselves for not closing sooner, for not anticipating this outcome, but it doesn't change our situation.
We've had nine years of memories - good and bad, to the extremes and in-between. I hope you have some good memories of our store. Think of our instores, our inventory, our inviting personalities. Try getting that at Target! We will miss our customers. We're a mix of happy-sad right now. Happy this nine year journey is almost over, sad about the consequences of closing, but in the end, the business was no longer self-sufficient.
Leave a comment or make a donation. We would truly appreciate hearing from you. We'd appreciate anything you could offer, and in return, we will send you a Sit and Spin souvenir in the form of leftover inventory or something found in the backroom.
Thanks for your business. We truly appreciated it.
