Hello folks! Thanks for checking out our website. We closed our brick and mortar record store in September of 2008. It was a very sad day for all involved with Sit and Spin over the course of its nine year existence. We operated in two different locations during our nine years. For the first eight years, we were located on Transit Rd. in Depew, NY. Our last year of business saw us move into the city of Buffalo, opening our new location at 2531 Delaware Ave. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for us. As luck would have it, we happened to meet a genuine saint who wanted to carry the torch for indie record stores in Buffalo, and he opened his own shop, Spiral Scratch Records, at our Delaware Avenue location.
With leftover inventory and a leftover domain name, I decided to use our blog to help people find vinyl on the Internet. We will offer some leftover selections from our inventory and provide you with a place to search for the best vinyl deals around. As a music lover and budding blogger, I may start posting some reviews of noteworthy new releases. I still have the itch for the sales pitch.
